IPL aspires for Partnership

In the international scenario the saga of brotherhood has been as old as the human civilization itself. In each and every sphere of life this has been the legacy of centuries that has also witnessed spontaneous development resulting into the benefits of the participating countries, not to speak of the common men. On the other hand with the notion of globalization and also ‘global village’ getting more sway this idea of fraternity is getting wider recognition. Now the question remains, if this can be viewed in the sphere of international business and also politics, how can the saga of sports be left behind? But it is necessary for someone to come forward and take necessary steps to turn this into a reality. Well, in this regard the concerned authority of the Indian Premier League (IPL) has pondered over for a number of days, and has decided to move forward. The latest move of the IPL board, as has been found, is to forge a novel partnership with the English premier league. If truth be told the entire step has been taken with one intention, to enable the celebrated players of England to partake in the impending Indian title fight.

This certainly can be regarded as a bold approach and has already created a history, since there has never been any such approach from the diffident settings of the Indian sub-continent. However, there are also some hidden truths. The IPL in all ways want to appoint the best players of England whose addition will definitely glorify of the championship. Nevertheless, the biggest concern is the collision of specific time periods of both IPL and the English League that may hamper India’s escalating interest. It should be noted, that by this time both of England and Wales Cricket Boards have banished all players contracted to it from playing in the IPL, terming the tenure of the Indian championship - running for six weeks from the second half of April – will clash with the English domestic season.

Well, to wear off this unholy development the IPL in all ways is trying to negotiate. But it must be said that before the strong commercial interests of England the chance of the viability of this newly found brotherhood looks sluggish.
